What PMS connects to

Workflow

Running PMS, step by step.

  1. The mandate is recorded

Client, portfolio manager, strategy and initial corpus, on the client’s book.

  2. The provider statement arrives

Positions and valuation are taken from the statement rather than estimated, which is what makes your client statement agree with the provider’s.

  3. The consolidated view updates

The PMS position sits alongside mutual funds, AIF and everything else in one client view rather than in a separate login.

  4. Fees and brokerage compute

On the fee structure that applies to the mandate, reconciled like every other revenue line.

Regulatory

Where this sits with the regulator.

SEBI portfolio management regulations. The portfolio manager runs the mandate; you distribute it under your own registration and Finvica records it.

Finvica is a technology platform. It does not hold an ARN, does not advise, and does not solicit investments. You transact under your own registration and remain the regulated party in your own client relationships.

Who this is for

If this is the class you are here about.

Distributors searching for PMS handling are usually asking a bigger question about their whole book. The solution page for that buyer covers the rest of it.

For AIF and PMS distributors

Questions about PMS.

How is a PMS position valued without a NAV?

From the provider’s statement. That is the correct basis for a non-unitised holding, and treating it that way is what makes the reconciliation balance rather than drift.

Which PMS providers are supported?

Named provider coverage follows the claim register (00 §11, open decision 1). Statement-based capture works regardless of provider.

Can clients see PMS alongside their other holdings?

Yes — that is the point. One statement, one set of numbers, across every class on the book.
